Mouthguards

— a cap is a protective insert that is worn over the teeth. With the help of a mouthguard, you can protect: teeth, gums and tongue. There are single-jaw and double-jaw varieties of caps. Products of the first type are put on the upper row of teeth, while the lower teeth are only partially covered. Thanks to the single-jaw cap, a gap appears between the upper and lower teeth, which allows the athlete to breathe freely. Single-jaw mouthguards are designed for direct fights in competitions. Double-jaw caps fix both the lower and upper teeth. Because of this, the gap between the upper and lower jaw disappears. Double jaw guards are used mainly for training.
