A high quality mini woodworking lathe ideal for the production of smaller pieces or where the workshop size does not allow for a longer bed. Recommended for Pen Turning. The bed, headstock and tailstock are all constructed from cast iron to give vibration free running but the compact size means the weight is still manageable and the lathe can be removed from the bench when not in use. Electronic variable speed control allows the ideal speed to be quickly selected for jobs of any diameter.

This midi sized lathe is the more powerful of the D460F family with the larger motor and more distance from the lathe bed but still a size which can accomplish most of the projects turners are likely to try and is the largest lathe which can comfortably be moved off the bench when not in use. The bed of the lathe is one-piece precision ground cast iron giving 18" between centres when working with our new heavy duty centres. The bowl turning capacity of 12" diameter over the bed.
