The thermal conductivity of gypsum is low, which contributes to the preservation of heat (and coolness in the warm season) and makes the surface of the tile pleasant to the touch, in addition, this material can regulate humidity to some extent: absorb excess moisture from the air at high humidity and give it away at low humidity. . Also, gypsum tiles have good noise absorption performance and are absolutely fireproof. Among the shortcomings, first of all, fragility and sensitivity to excess moisture can be noted; because of this, such tiles require special care in handling and are not suitable for bathrooms and other rooms with high humidity.
