Three-phase (400 V)

— three-phase power is suitable for heat pumps of any power level, and it is often provided even in some low-power models, theoretically quite capable of being powered from 230 V — in particular, because a 400-volt connection reduces actual electricity consumption. On the other hand, a three-phase connection is far from being available everywhere, especially when it comes to an ordinary residential building; such a line often has to be laid separately.
