Due to this, clay masks have a good cleansing effect — they draw in sweat, along with which toxins and toxins are removed. At the same time, the "greenhouse effect" created by the mask contributes to the production of sweat; the same effect ensures the expansion of pores and even greater cleansing efficiency. Clay also replaces peeling to a certain extent — it draws in dead skin cells and is removed along with them.

Note that different types of therapeutic clay are used in cosmetology, and their effect (in addition to the general features described above) is also different. So, white clay promotes skin renewal and rejuvenation, blue clay has an anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect, green clay is well suited for oily skin, red clay has a beneficial effect on the condition of blood vessels, etc. In general, the features of each specific composition based on clay are best specified by manufacturer's instructions.

Separately, we note that when using clay masks, you need to carefully monitor the exposure time. If the recommended time is exceeded, such a remedy may begin to work “in reverse” — returning accumulated impurities back to the skin.
