I'm adding this processor to my new PC, and I'm happy with this choice. Intel core i5 12400 is a modern, powerful and economical processor that is suitable for a variety of purposes. The main advantage is that it has 6 cores and 12 threads, ensuring fast and uninterrupted operation in games, applications, and browsers. Its TDP is 65 W, so it consumes little energy and produces little heat. It also features integrated Intel UHD Graphics 730, which can be useful for a while until a graphics card is purchased. The package includes a standard cooler that provides adequate cooling for the processor. It is priced affordably, matching its quality and performance. Everything suits me in the i5-12500. You can take i5-12600 (max frequency is slightly higher). UHD770. Powerful enough. During the toughest stress tests, it did not overheat above 87 degrees when loading all cores at 100%. Cooler Thermalright Assassin King 120 Mini. I added another 120 fan in front of the radiator to it. The price is a little high at the time of purchase (June 22, but now it has become even more expensive.) For those who think "why do we need PCI-E x16 5.0", I explain: for video cards with small amounts of memory. No matter what anyone says in defense of the Reds, they still lag behind Intel. And take cases with 200mm fans for it if you are going to drive the 1060 6GB can handle 100% load without any problems, as it "heats" up no higher than 40°C and usage doesn't exceed 30% across all cores. The 3060 is twice as powerful. You can estimate its potential and that's without overclocking. Water cooling is NOT NEEDED for it! Buy thermal paste like MX-4 and update it every six months to a year. all games with Denuvo will stop working for you, especially if you are a "pirate". Those with legit copies can wait for patches that might come. I bought the cheapest cooler for a 1700 socket for 3k, where it said 22 dB, but it's definitely not 22. The processor gets extremely hot, where the 5600 doesn't get stressed, the 12600 runs at full capacity.
