I've been using it for three years. I've loaded it with almost all modern games (the last one was GTA V on max settings). Coupled with a decent motherboard, cooler, and a powerful graphics card "currently Asus r9 290x matrix platinum 4gb," the combination is pretty wild, it handles everything. I've pushed it to a maximum of about 70% load and the temperature did not exceed 54 degrees. Moreover, I don't use overclocking, only the default settings. It also allows the graphics card to fully perform. intel i5 3570K/Price - quality. Quite nimble. You can build a powerful gaming PC with savings of 6-9 thousand rubles on the processor. in terms of power with similar models. It also has a pretty good built-in graphics processor. You can build a more budget gaming PC without a video card and play at medium quality or higher if you are a gaming mother. No. use Intel i5-3570K month or more i recommend it should buy |

Hello from 2019, almost 2020 (18.10.19). I have been the happy owner of this processor since 17.12.12. I bought it back then for 2k UAH. What can I say about it? I can say that I made the right choice by getting the K version (unlocked multiplier) back then. Until the end of 2017, this processor handled all popular games at max settings on a Full HD monitor at 60Hz without overclocking. The setup was initially paired with a GTX 660ti until 25.11.2017. On that date, I got myself an upgrade in the form of an Aorus GTX 1070. It's clear that the combination of the processor, RAM (ddr3 16gb 1666), with this GPU is outdated. It was decided to overclock the processor. I managed to reach 4500MHz on the first try without many manipulations (almost automatically in the BIOS). I could have gone higher, but I don't see much point beyond that, as the efficiency relative to frequency/stability/heat dissipation/performance after 4.5 MHz is unsatisfactory for me. Yes, the motherboard is an Asus p8z77-v + cooling from Zalman csnp12x. Up until 2018, the processor's performance was sufficient for all the latest projects. But then games like Mass Effect Andromeda, Shadow of the Tomb Raider appeared. And it was in them that I saw the processor's limits. When at 4.5MHz, all 4 cores were at 100% load while the GPU was relaxing at only 70%. And this happened only in certain locations or scenes. Yes, there are a bunch of other resource-intensive games now, but I don't have the opportunity to try all of them... Nevertheless, from 2013 to 2019, this processor handles 80% of games out of 100% at high-ultra Full HD 60fps. And after that, the 4th... 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and now the 9th generations of Intel processors over the past 6 years. And I believe this fact speaks volumes... The review is certainly not relevant anymore, as this CPU has long been retired. But here and now, only in 2019, I thought it was time to replace it with the 9th generation Intel, ideally the I9-9900K(S), and that's just to satisfy my needs for the 20% of games I play or want to play... Until this moment, the I5-3570K processor worked at 100% of its capabilities. I can only say thank you to the old guy for all these years! Performance and stability with a buffer for 5+ years. For 6 years there is no reason to say anything in the minus of this pro. ![]() |

The end of 2024, the beginning of 2025, and I'm writing a review for a 2012 processor. It's funny, but I only recently replaced it. I bought it in 2013, upgraded my system. I even remember the motherboard, processor, and RAM cost me 3000 UAH, those were the prices back then. If only we could get such prices now for new Intel and AMD processors. Dreams, dreams. And it was completely sufficient for a home PC, enough for games in FullHD, not to mention other multimedia. This processor has 4 cores and 4 threads, with a clock speed of around 3.2GHz. It was enough for me to even play Cyberpunk 2077 at 40 fps on medium-high settings. I had it under a be quiet! Pure Rock 2 tower. The maximum temperature was around 57 degrees, so it's quite cool, even when using entry-level and mid-range towers. The upgrade was driven by the fact that the processor doesn't support modern technologies like PCI Express 5.0 or DDR5, and there are very few motherboards for them now, and the processor was maxed out at 100% load on most tasks. There was nothing that could be done about it. Considering an i5-3470 in 2025? It's a very strange decision. But why not? If you want to build a small, cheap system, say for a home or cottage multimedia system for movies, series, music, and internet, you can even play games with a powerful graphics card. Cold, cheap, competitive. Well-suited for light tasks. Consumes little and has a low TDP level. An outdated platform and all the problems that come with it. ![]() |
