Oddly enough, this plastic lens (I specifically focus on this, as there is only a bayonet ring made of metal), I won’t say that much, but I was able to surprise with the quality of the photo and functionality. For example, if you shoot in manual mode, the ring acts as a focus, but in automatic mode, you can change the aperture in real time. This is very cool and allows you to use the camera more efficiently, especially in active shooting modes. The ring itself is rubberized, and has a very soft and pleasant move, that is, it is perfect for shooting video. I’ll cut off the fact that I rarely shoot videos, but with this lens I want to do it more often. When focusing (focusing or changing), the picture does not move, i.e. the lens does not breathe, and you can shoot objects at close range. Sharpness is excellent. Worse at minimum focal lengths, better at maximum ones. But even at 24 mm with an open aperture, the picture is excellent. Some minimal blurring can be seen only at the edges of the frame, and at high magnification. In general, the picture is very juicy, sharp, without obvious distortion. Sometimes you can see HA, lungs, and in remote areas. With 50-70 mm there are no problems at all. I note that at 24 mm there is a slight distortion, but if you use the camera's auto-correction. it disappears almost completely. The lens is not heavy, compact enough, and suitable for travel. But the diameter for the filter is 72 mm, so you have to fork out for good filters. Well, another nuance - there is a retractable trunk ... Excellent sharpness. Excellent optical quality, and minimal distortion at 24mm. Autofocus is fast and the focus ring is very soft and smooth. Auto mode allows you to change the aperture with the focus ring. Cool result at the exit, very little marriage. I think the retractable trunk is the biggest drawback. Also there is 72mm for the filter, so filters will be expensive for it.
