Asus AirVision M1

Innovative mid-range smart glasses with a focus on privacy, showcased by ASUS at CES 2024 as an alternative to traditional AR glasses for work and entertainment. The ASUS AirVision M1 stands out among competitors with a unique design feature: thanks to a special optical construction, the content of virtual screens remains invisible to those nearby, providing complete privacy when working with sensitive information, viewing documents, or personal content in public spaces.

The visual system is built on Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 1080p for each eye, impressive maximum brightness of 1100 cd/m², and covering 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. The device provides a vertical field of view of 57° and a transmission coefficient of 60%, allowing for visual contact with the environment. The three-degrees-of-freedom (3DoF) positioning technology allows fixing the virtual screen in a specific place in space, while a flexible multi-display system supports the creation of multiple virtual screens simultaneously in 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 formats.

A touch panel on the left temple allows adjusting brightness, enabling 3D mode, and fixing the screen. Built-in microphones and speakers with noise-canceling function provide quality sound and voice interaction without the need for headphones. It is important to note that the AirVision M1 does not have its own processor and uses the computing power of a smartphone, computer, or console connected via USB-C.
