A relatively affordable wired controller that, despite its seemingly simple features, stands out with a full set of Hall sensors—contactless technology is used in both analog sticks and triggers. For a straightforward wired gamepad, this is a significant advantage: magnetic sensors are not prone to mechanical wear, meaning stick drift and trigger linearity loss, known to owners of potentiometer-based controllers, are hardware-level excluded here.

The sticks are positioned asymmetrically (left higher, right lower) akin to the Xbox layout, with compatibility with the Microsoft ecosystem confirmed: it supports Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, and the Steam platform. The cable connects to the gamepad via USB-C and is detachable, making replacement easy in case of damage and allowing for a cord of the desired length. The GameSir T7 gamepad features 13 buttons, a 4-way D-pad, a pair of bumpers, and two triggers—a standard setup, without additional rear paddles or programmable keys.

Feedback is executed through vibration motors, and there is a 3.5 mm jack for headset connection. Power is supplied through USB, making the controller entirely independent of batteries and chargers. Essentially, this is a deliberately minimalist model: no screens, lighting, or wireless modules—the focus is on input reliability and durability of key components, which might be more crucial for an everyday wired gamepad than any additional features.
