Acer TravelMate P2 TMP216-41-TCO

A family of 16-inch laptops with basic equipment and a simple Ryzen Rembrandt R hardware platform. They are part of the 2024 Acer TravelMate line and are, by their nature, inexpensive entry-level laptops for work outside the office and study, aimed at budget users. They will also be useful in organizing business processes and engineering activities, are suitable for video communication and will cope with the role of a mobile multimedia entertainment center.

Given the nature of the series, the manufacturer equipped all laptops with fairly simple IPS screens with a resolution of 1080p, a classic refresh rate of 60 Hz and a basic color rendering of 45% NTSC, which are completely unsuitable for processing graphics, editing photos and editing videos. All notebooks in the Acer TravelMate P2 TMP216-41-TCO series are equipped with moderately powerful 4-core Ryzen 3 7335U processors of the Rembrandt R generation (Zen 3+ architecture) with not particularly powerful integrated Radeon 660M graphics.

The amount of DDR5-4800 RAM, depending on the configuration, can be 8 or 16 GB, while the user can independently increase the amount of RAM to 64 GB due to the second unused slot. The SSD drive is limited to 256 or 512 GB. Among the other hardware in the series, it is worth highlighting the shockproof case with military certification MIL-STD-810 and a capacious battery with support for fast charging, capable of providing up to 16 hours of battery life on a single full charge, a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless communication module, additional security options (from a Smart Card slot to a fingerprint scanner), and popular wired interfaces, including USB4 with Thunderbolt support.
