AEG’s 2025 debut in the lineup is an induction cooktop positioned at the intersection of the mid and advanced price segments. With built-in dimensions of 560x490 cm, the model has fairly standard overall sizes and provides 4 cooking zones. The work surface is made of glass-ceramic, which looks impressive, is easy to clean, and should ensure good strength and reliability. The AEG TO 64IB00 FB cooktop supports Bridge mode: the two left burners, 21 cm in size and 2300 W in power, can be combined into one elongated zone to conveniently use, for example, an oval roaster or a grill plate.

On the right at the front there is a small 14.5 cm heating zone at 1.4 kW, and at the back a medium 18 cm, 1800-watt one. For control, a Direct Touch Controls touch panel is offered, which provides individual sliders to select the required power literally with one touch. Also provided are the familiar PowerBoost intensity increase, a Pause function, and a timer. Worth separate mention is the 3-level OptiHeat Control residual heat indicator, which will allow more flexible and economical use of the model, for example, to finish a dish with the burner already turned off.

Another useful feature is Hob2Hood — automatic hood control. A device compatible with this technology for air purification can turn on by itself together with the cooktop and change the fan rotation modes taking into account the intensity of the burners.
