A studio-grade professional microphone equipped with a 1-inch condenser capsule with a pronounced cardioid pattern. This polar pattern allows focusing the sound capture from the front plane relative to the capsule, minimizing the influence of background noise and interfering sounds from other sides. The AKG P220 covers the demanding frequency spectrum from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and can handle a sound pressure level up to 155 dB (thanks to the built-in attenuator), and cuts off unnecessary low-frequency sounds with a 300 Hz low-cut filter.
The model is optimally suited for recording vocals, acoustic and wind instruments, ensuring the highest-quality speech transmission. The microphone connects via XLR connector and has phantom power (48 V ± 4 V). The model comes with an "spider" type shock mount to minimize vibrations. Additionally, the package includes a sturdy aluminum case for storage and transportation. The model is excellent for everyday, long-hour use at a professional sound recording level.

I am very satisfied with this microphone; it may not be the ideal solution for vocals, but it is perfect for recording podcasts, audiobooks, etc. The sound is very nice and clear, with a low noise level.
