Amazon is introducing a compact smart speaker with support for the proprietary Alexa voice assistant at a very reasonable price. The case has a semicircular shape and is available in different colors - from classic to brighter and more eye-catching. The model is a real tiny one: its dimensions are 99x83x91 mm, and its weight is only 200 g. It takes up minimal space, fits in the palm of your hand and, if necessary, can be easily carried and transported.

But, of course, the compact size affected the volume and power levels, so the manufacturer advises using the device in small rooms. Amazon Echo Pop connects to a smartphone, tablet or other gadget via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and streams music from personal playlists and streaming services. The speaker can also be used for hands-free calls during phone calls. And thanks to Amazon Alexa, you can control the speaker with just your voice.

Alexa can tell you the news and weather, take calls, control music playback and keep track of your calendar. In addition, thanks to the voice assistant, you can remotely control other smart home devices: for example, lamps, a robot vacuum cleaner, etc. A light indicator on the top of the case signals the operating status of the gadget. And for security purposes and to protect personal information, users can mute the microphone, which is necessary to communicate with Alexa, using a special button on the case.
