ASRock Z790I Lightning WIFI

An advanced motherboard from ASRock with an LGA 1700 processor socket, elite Intel Z790 system logic, a high-end power subsystem and support for high-speed DDR5-8600 RAM. The model is a representative of the Phantom Gaming family, which includes motherboards for mid-range and advanced gaming systems equipped with 2K and 4K monitors. Due to its compact dimensions (mini-ITX), the board can also be an interesting option for a compact work or gaming system assembled in a Mini Tower, Desktop or Cube Case.

Like most representatives of the Phantom Gaming series, this model is equipped with a reinforced slot for connecting cutting-edge video cards with support for the PCI-E 5.0 interface, but unlike previous generations of Phantom Gaming motherboards, it cannot operate in Crossfire mode. ASRock Z790I supports two DDR5 DIMM slots with dual-channel operation. The maximum clock frequency is 8600 MHz, and the total amount of RAM can reach 96 GB.

XMP support allows you to easily overclock the memory. The possibilities for organizing the disk subsystem are represented by three SATA 3 ports (6 Gbps) and two M.2 connectors with support for the PCI-E 4.0 interface, which provides high data transfer rates of up to 7500 MB/s. There is also an integrated RAID controller and a cooling system for the M.2 SSD. The board is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3 network interfaces, as well as a 2.5 Gbps LAN port controlled by the Dragon RTL8125BG controller.
