Modern, well-balanced ATX board with support for PCIe 5.0, Wi‑Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4, and a power system at the level of top solutions. It is part of the Phantom Gaming series, which focuses on performance, stability, and high bandwidth. Mainly designed for gaming builds, but it is also suitable for use as a system board in entry-level or mid-range workstations. The ASRock Z890 Lightning WiFi runs on the advanced Z890 chipset, equipped with an LGA 1851 socket, and supports Intel Core Ultra processors.

Thanks to the use of a powerful 22-phase power subsystem and reliable component base, it becomes the optimal choice for building powerful gaming systems with Core Ultra 7/Core Ultra 9 processors and GeForce RTX 5080/Radeon 9080 graphics cards. The slot layout is in the familiar ATX format: 2 reinforced slots for video cards and expansion cards (with support for PCIe 5.0 mode), 4 M.2 slots for fast NVMe SSDs, and 4 SATA 3 connectors for classic drives.

Support for high-speed Gen4/Gen5 SSDs will be especially useful in modern open-world games, which noticeably slow down on outdated drives with narrow bandwidth channels. In addition, the board is equipped with four DIMM DDR5 slots, allowing the installation of up to 256 GB of RAM with a maximum clock speed of 9066 MHz. RAM operates in dual-channel mode. Plus, there is support for XMP profiles. The package is completed by the Killer E3100G network controller with a 2.5-gigabit LAN port and a wireless module supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
