A relatively inexpensive and compact motherboard from the Asus TUF line, which, unlike many of its counterparts, is oriented towards mid-range gaming builds with affordable and popular components. In particular, it is equipped with an AM4 socket, into which most AMD Ryzen processors released from 2017 to 2022 can be installed (families Vermeer, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge, and Pinnacle Ridge).
Instead of the fast but still expensive DDR5 RAM, it uses DDR4 DIMM slots. Moreover, the maximum memory module frequency can reach 4866 MHz, which is a significant result even compared to DDR5. The Asus TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WIFI II is equipped with a reinforced 15-phase power supply subsystem that ensures impeccable stability in both normal mode and when overclocked.
Additional radiators cool the power elements, demonstrating a serious approach to circuitry and cooling. Thanks to the reinforced PCIe x16 slot, the board is perfect for use with massive graphics cards that have multi-slot cooling systems. Notably, both M.2 slots are covered with heatsinks, which are useful for cooling hot NVMe SSDs without their own cooling. For handling intense network traffic, there is a 2.5-gigabit LAN controller from Intel with Wi-Fi 6 built-in. Additionally, the board features 3 extra connectors for RGB and ARGB strips, as well as one connector for a water pump.

Good mom. Paired with 5600, so we are satisfied (me and the 5600th). There are enough power phases, you can try installing the older sister 5700x. The plus is the presence of WI-FI, 6 USB ports. The disadvantages are the lack of a heatsink on the M.2 Gen 4.0 slot, so I had to buy one. Another disadvantage, in my opinion, is the slightly steep price. This is a good motherboard. It supports almost all AM4 processors.
