Model overview based on user reviews
The Asus Radeon RX 6600 XT DUAL OC is a graphics card that offers good performance for its price, especially when compared to the slightly more expensive 3060. It is praised for its low power consumption and temperatures, making it a suitable choice for gamers. Users have noted that it runs most online games smoothly at 100-150+ fps and handles streaming in Full-HD on platforms like Twitch effectively. However, the card's performance can vary depending on the game, with some titles experiencing optimization issues. While it performs well in games like Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil 8, it struggles with ray tracing in more demanding games like Metro Exodus and Cyberpunk 2077. Overall, the RX 6600 XT is considered a good budget option for gamers who prioritize performance over ray tracing capabilities.

For the price I paid, simply the best!
11 August 2022
I was thinking for a long time about which graphics card to choose, waiting for the price to drop. When the price went down a bit, I finally decided to add a card to my PC. The choice was between a 3060 and a 6600xt. The 3060 was slightly more expensive, performance-wise the AMD was better (excluding ray tracing). But the decision was hard because I wanted to stream on Twitch. Everyone knows that NVENC is better, but I decided it was better to go with AMD. After using it for about two months, I am very satisfied. I mainly play online games (Dota 2, CS:GO, Fortnite, GTA 5, DayZ), and it handles everything at maximum resolution without lags, plus I stream in Full-HD on Twitch via the AMD codec (tried with the processor too, no issues). I even play GTA 5 in 2K while streaming. I only heard noise from the graphics card in GTA, in other games I didn't hear it, thought the fans weren't working because the card was faulty, but no, everything's fine. Bought it for about €425 when there was a promotion, got a mouse as a gift (a small gesture, but nice). For that price, it's simply amazing.
Relatively quiet.
Meets all my gamer needs.
Runs all online games at 100-150+ fps.
I haven't discovered it yet

A good budget card, but the rays can be said to be poor

5700XT-level card plus rays.
Despite being an Asus Dual, it is pleasantly made. Decent backplate, not hot. Frequency of 2600 MHz in games. Far Cry 6 runs about 70 FPS with rays and FSR. Resident Evil 8 is the same.
Metro Exodus, quake 2 RTX, cyberpunk 2077 run poorly if you turn on ray tracing. Reducing the resolution scale does little, and there is no FSR in these games. In Quake 2 you need to set the scale to 65% if it won’t go above 60 fps. Essentially, this will be a game in a resolution of 1248x702, that is, in fact, 720P. If without scale then 33-35 fps

It would be better to overpay 1000-1500 UAH and take 3060,

The problem with this graphics card is the varying performance depending on the game, plus - low power consumption and low temperatures
At 1080p
Forza Horizon 5 ultra - 80-90
SnowRunner high - 55-60
Borderlands 3 ultra - 100-120
Problematic games
Squad high 80, drops on some maps to 30 fps, even if lowering settings to minimum 40-60 fps on non-optimized maps might occur
Minecraft (GregTech on a medium-sized base)
With shaders 60 and drops to 40
Without shaders 150-200
The price was cheaper than 3060, power consumption
Optimization in some games is very poor, 8 PCIe lanes (if it's only PCIe 3.0 you might lose 10-20% fps). AMD Adrenaline software is slightly worse than GeForce ShadowPlay, but it still performs its function.
