RTX 3050 are based on GA106 chips with additional 8-pin power supply and power consumption of 130 W.
High-performance gaming graphics card of an affordable class for equipping gaming PCs with FullHD-resolution monitors. The model from the “box” already has a small factory overclock, and is positioned as a solution for an affordable price category in 2022. Powered by the powerful Nvidia GA106 GPU, equipped with 8 GB of high-speed GDDR6 video memory. Made according to the 8-nm process technology and operates in the frequency range up to 1852 MHz.
The GPU received improved second-generation RT cores with hardware support for ray tracing technology (Real-Time Ray Tracing), as well as advanced third-generation tensor cores with DLSS support. The Asus GeForce RTX 3050 Dual OC 8GB graphics card is able to provide a comfortable frame rate in all popular AAA titles of 2018-2022 at high graphics settings. It has a fairly compact size - only 20 cm in length with a thickness of less than 4 cm, so it can serve as a good choice for many compact cases. The advantages should also include a dual-fan cooling system with heat pipes and advanced dust-proof Axial-tech fans with elongated blades and improved airflow focusing. It is noteworthy that during a simple map does not create noise at all.
