Very powerful phone, good cameras for a gaming phone. Convenient to use, nice ergonomics. 185Hz screen. Large battery, fast charging, wireless charging. There are triggers, two USB-C ports, and so on... The included case is not very convenient. |
Add Review

The ROG lineup underwent a significant redesign with last year's ROG Phone 8 generation. The redesign aimed to make the phone more appealing to a broader audience, not just gamers. This year, we are getting more of the same, and the ROG Phone 9 family is a continuation or enhancement of the same formula.
The differences between the regular and Pro versions are not that many. Both devices come with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with identical internal and external designs, including a new cooling system, IP68 dust protection, and AirTriggers. The only physical difference is that the regular version has a reduced AniMe Vision Mini LED display on the back with only 85 dots, while the Pro has a total of 648 dots. Additionally, both phones feature the same excellent LTPO display with a 185 Hz refresh rate and a 5800 mAh battery, larger than last year's.
Overall, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 or ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro are the best gaming smartphones on the market. This is not a cheap Xiaomi (POCO) parody, which overheats, has a lot of ads in the firmware, slightly buggy software, and a poorly functioning virtual proximity sensor.
