The light version of the original Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 model comes with a slightly smaller screen and without GPS/NFC modules. The display is a rectangular AMOLED panel spanning 1.96 inches diagonally. The screen supports over 200 watch faces (around 50 customizable and 30 for the "Always On" mode). The watch serves its owner by monitoring health and physical activity metrics, mirroring notifications from a connected smartphone, controlling the music player, and enabling Bluetooth calls.
Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 Lite measures heart rate, determines blood oxygen saturation, counts steps, burned calories, and monitors sleep quality. The model also supports over 150 training modes indoors, outdoors, and in the pool (its waterproof level is rated at 5 ATM). These light smartwatches operate on the proprietary HyperOS. A full charge of the 470 mAh battery lasts for 18 days of standalone operation.

Interesting model. Bought it for calls, phone-free, and convenient message reading. There are some issues, but overall, it meets my needs 100%. AMOLED screen, autonomy around 20 days. Very high-quality oleophobic screen coating. Metal body. High-quality included strap. Quality microphone and speaker (normal ability to answer calls). No auto-brightness. The processor is somewhat weak (if there haven't been notifications for a while, upon receiving the next one, the notification sound is delayed and very harsh). There are very few watch faces available and there's no option to create your own (JSON format). On all watch faces, the date is formatted strangely (month first, then day) and the week starts with Sunday. |
