Xiaomi Smart Band 10 belongs to the category of affordable fitness bands aimed at a mass audience that needs a basic set of tools for tracking activity and overall condition. The device sits in the budget segment and is designed for everyday use paired with a smartphone. The tracker’s metal body boasts 50 WR (5 ATM) water protection, allowing use while swimming in a pool.
The screen is a 1.72-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 520x212 and a peak brightness of 1500 nits, ensuring readability in bright daylight. The interface supports gesture control and customizable watch faces. The set of built-in sensors includes an optical heart rate sensor, a SpO₂ sensor, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope. Before this, I wore a bracelet from the same line, model 4, for 2 years. I bought it used just for workouts, but liked it so much that I kept wearing it all the time, and now I upgraded straight to the latest 10th model. I’ll say right away that the upgrade is very noticeable: a lot of useful things have been added (and some not so useful), but the most important thing is the large screen, the battery still lasts just as long, and now you can remove unnecessary items from the menu and put the ones you need every day at the top, which wasn’t possible on the 4. On the larger screen, it’s more convenient to read messages and easier to select any options because they are bigger, but at the same time the screen doesn’t look too large on the wrist, and it is still quite lightweight. As for downsides, if you really nitpick, it’s the sleep tracking sensor: it is set up worse than the one I had before. It doesn’t understand when I get up to drink water at night and then go back to sleep. With the 4, you could walk around for about 15 minutes, go back to sleep, and it would continue tracking sleep, but this one thinks that’s it, I’m already awake, even if it’s 4 in the morning. Also, because of the tattoo on my arm, it tracks worse; sometimes there is no data for the whole night. But sleep tracking is not really important to me, so it’s all fine. Overall, these bracelets are not for everyone, but if you wore an older model before, you can safely get this one as an upgrade, it’s great. I recently bought a Mi Band 10. Before that, I used the 3 and 6 versions. Both had vibration when unlocking the screen, but this one doesn't. It's bad because there's also no brightness schedule. You could set 22:00-7:00 for low brightness, and 7:00-22:00 for maximum brightness. It's inconvenient that there's no vibration when unlocking; when you're walking down the street and the bracelet is on auto-brightness, and you want to check the time, you pull it out from under your sleeve, swipe on it, and can't tell if it's on or not. Because auto-brightness turns it down to minimum under the sleeve due to darkness, and there's no vibration to indicate it's on. If there was vibration, you could wait 1-2 seconds for the brightness to increase. Compared to the Mi Band 6, for me, it doesn't have any new necessary features, except maybe the compass. But I spent a minute twisting it as shown, and couldn't calibrate it. Enhanced AMOLED Display
This model retains the AMOLED matrix but has increased its size — the display now measures 1.72 inches in diagonal (compared to 1.62 inches in the previous version). The peak brightness has also been increased from 1200 to 1500 nits, improving screen readability in bright light conditions. The software is powered by HyperOS 2.0 with a responsive interface and a variety of original watch faces.
Improved Sports Features
The fitness band has received upgrades in swimming modes, sleep monitoring, and sports activity tracking. New features include assessments of maximum oxygen consumption, physical workload levels, and estimated recovery time calculation after training. Among the built-in sensors are a heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter, accelerometer, gyroscope, and light sensor. The device supports about 150 types of workouts.
Long Battery Life
The band is equipped with a built-in alarm clock, phone notification display functions, as well as camera and music player control. In active use mode, the battery lasts for 8–10 days, and under moderate load, the device can operate without recharging for up to 3 weeks consecutively.
