Biostar motherboard based on Intel B660 chipset that supports 12th and 13th generation Intel Core processors. It is part of the Biostar Racing product line, whose products stand out due to the good balance between price and functionality. Belongs to the ATX format, designed for installation in fairly powerful gaming systems with a lot of hardware and high-quality case airflow. It features a well-thought-out layout of components, which does not limit the user in any way during the installation of different configurations of components.

Almost in the very center of the board there is a socket for installing an Intel LGA 1700 processor, which supports the installation of Intel Core / Celeron / Pentium processors with standard and hybrid Alder Lake and Raptor Lake cores. Below the socket are 4 DIMM DDR4 slots. The Biostar B660GTA power converter is designed on the basis of DrMOS microcircuits in which separate chokes, capacitors and a multi-channel PWM controller are used.

The ability to connect drives is provided by the presence of three M.2 slots that can exchange information using the high-speed PCI-E 4.0 bus. The introduction of this interface frees hands when designing a disk subsystem, allowing you to install several reactive M.2 SSDs in the system, which significantly increase the speed of data exchange between the drive, RAM and video card memory. The video card slot supports the fifth version of the system's high-speed PCI-E bus, which is rare for motherboards with Intel B660 system logic. The slot is reinforced with metal fiber and is perfect for installing heavy video cards with multi-slot cooling systems a la GeForce RTX 4080.
