A special ATX format motherboard with an Intel LGA 1151 processor socket, designed to build high-performance farms for mining popular cryptocurrencies based on GPU computing technology. The main distinguishing feature of this model is the presence of 12 PCI-E slots, 11 of which correspond to the PCI-E 1x form factor, and one PCI-E x16. Thus, it is possible to assemble a system that includes up to 12 high-performance video cards based on AMD or NVIDIA chips.

Such systems show high computing power in the Dagger-Hashimoto algorithms (Ethereum coins, Expanse, Musicoin) and Equihash (ZCash coins, Komodo, Hush). The Biostar TB250-BTC PRO motherboard is compatible with processors based on Kaby Lake and Skylake microarchitecture, that is, 6th and 7th generation Intel Core CPUs, as well as low-cost Celeron and Pentium processors. The maximum amount of DDR4 RAM installed in the two available slots can reach 32 GB, which is more than enough for mining tasks. The built-in Realtek RTL8111H network interface provides high-speed data exchange on the local network, and six SATA 3 ports are provided for installing HDD and SSD drives. The monitor is connected to the video core built into the processor using the DVI-D interface.
