In this case, we mean not just the theoretical possibility of using the motherboard for such calculations (many “ordinary” models have a similar possibility), but rather an optimized design, initially developed taking into account the specifics of the process. One of the features of this design is the presence of more than 4 PCIe 1x slots. This is due to the fact that for a number of reasons, it is most convenient to use graphics cards for mining, and for sufficient efficiency there should be several such cards in the system. However, the matter is not limited to the number of connectors: in addition to an expanded set of connectors, the design provides for various software and hardware features that optimize the mining process.
