A 2025 newcomer in Bosch's Series 4 lineup, this is a gas cooktop that sits between the mid-range and upper-mid price categories. The model is a gas-on-glass solution, as the work surface is tempered glass. It looks striking, is fairly easy to maintain, and offers decent durability (though, of course, it can’t match metal in that regard). The Bosch PNP 6B6 K40 cooktop, with standard built-in dimensions (560x480 mm), provides a set of 4 burners suited to various tasks and cookware sizes.
On the left are two identical medium burners rated at 1.75 kW — universal heating zones for medium pots and a wide range of cooking tasks. Front right is an economical (auxiliary) 1000 W burner, ideal for reheating, keeping food warm, preparing baby food, and so on. Behind it sits a large 3 kW burner, best used for fast water boiling and for pairing with large pots and pans.
