The cooking surface of the Italian manufacturer Candy belongs to the low-cost segment, therefore, for the sake of a low price tag, they sacrificed the quality of materials. The work surface here is enameled and does not look as beautiful as glass. It is not easy to clean, and after some time of use, scratches and scuffs may appear, especially if you use abrasive materials and inappropriate products. The grates are made of steel, which is lighter than cast iron and easier to maintain, but it is less durable and can deform, bend and lose its original appearance over time.

Also, the device is distinguished by the location of the switches: they are not in the front, as in most models, but on the side. Usually such panels are narrower, but in this case, the side control did not affect the dimensions in any way, they are quite standard — 59.5x51 cm. But the side location is preferable if there are small children in the house who can accidentally turn on the gas supply.

Simplicity and convenience

The surface has 4 burners with auto ignition: two fast burners with a power of 2.5 kW, one medium (1.75 kW) and a small auxiliary power of 1 kW. But the turbo burner, unfortunately, no. Gas control is provided — a security system that stops the gas supply if the flame accidentally goes out.

The Candy CHW 6 LBB comes in a beautiful black colour, but the Candy CHW 6 LWW is also available, which costs even less and comes in a more practical white colour.
