Shine of metal
Canyon DS-12 is a 13-in-1 aluminium multiport USB hub, also known as a laptop or smartphone docking station. Also suitable for Samsung DEX and Nintendo Switch. Connects via USB Type-C and supports up to 100W Power Delivery fast charging (charger supplied with laptop or smartphone).
Internet and music
It has four full-sized USB Type-A ports, three of which are high-speed 5 Gbps, and two more Type-C up to 0.5 Mb / s. The built-in card reader supports SD and microSD drives. Gigabit Ethernet is also present, which simply does not fit on thin ultrabook cases. There is also a 3.5 mm minijack for connecting wired headphones.
Trio of monitors
There are three video outputs available: two digital HDMI with support for 1920x1080 resolution at 60 Hz or 4K @ 30 Hz, as well as VGA only with Full HD. On Windows, all three monitors can work at the same time (three images, one of which duplicates the laptop screen), and on macOS, only two (one will be duplicated). If you are only interested in video outputs and Ethernet, then pay attention to the more compact Canyon DS-14 hub.
