— HDMI is the most popular among modern multimedia digital interfaces. It is specifically designed for HD content and provides the transmission of high-resolution video and multi-channel audio through a single cable. Outputs of this type are primarily found in hubs connected via USB Type C and compatible with the Thunderbolt interface (see "Connection"). Specifically, to use HDMI, it will be necessary to connect the device to the Thunderbolt v3 port — a "pure" USB Type C does not support video transmission. This capability may be useful in a case where an external display is designed for HDMI connection, but the PC/laptop itself does not have such ports, as they are either occupied or unavailable for some other reason.
