I bought this watch as a gift for my father. He wore almost the same ones for a long time and got used to them very much. Therefore, I took his request to find something similar with all seriousness and still pleased. Not only do they look like their father's Casios, they handle exactly the same. Classic retro design. I remember how, as a child, I played with my father's electronic watch, and when I unpacked these, I already felt a pinch in my chest. They look exactly like the popular models of the eighties and nineties of the last century. As if they were brought in a time machine)) I must say that the design looks quite appropriate even now. A thin case with a characteristic profile and a metal bracelet made of large links do not look archaic. The LCD screen is large, with large segment digits in daylight or artificial lighting is seen perfectly. In the dark, you can turn on the built-in backlight. The move is the most accurate, according to this indicator they are clearly more accurate than the progenitor. The main difference between the "old-school" father's Casio and this new model is that the case is now made of metallized plastic instead of stainless steel. Naturally, the plastic does not have the same protective properties as metal and can be easily scratched. The protective glass is also plastic, and the first scratches appeared on it within two weeks. Such cost-cutting is disappointing, especially since the production cost of metal cases and mineral glass in mass production is minimal. I didn't expect such pettiness and stinginess from Casio. |
I can say for sure about this model - you can throw away this watch, lose it, forget it. They may simply bore you. But the reason that you changed them will never be a breakdown. In my opinion, they are simply eternal!) I have been using this watch for almost ten (!!!) years. And as a result, I changed them only because somehow they already looked outdated. I wanted a more modern model, and therefore I changed them, also to Casio, only in recent years. But of course, I'm still happy with this model. Firstly, their price is very low, as for Casio. And, secondly, they are very high quality. For all ten years, not a single breakdown. They sit comfortably on the hand. The case is a little scratched, but this cannot be avoided in any case. As for changing the battery, when I bought it I was assured that I definitely wouldn’t have to change it for three years. So, I didn’t think about changing the battery not for three years, but for ten whole years! They look very retro. Sort of like a “hello” from the eighties. Although it is debatable whether this can be considered a disadvantage. It is likely that this is rather the highlight of this watch brand. use Casio A-163WA-1 month or more i recommend it should buy |
