The built-in range hood from the Spanish brand Cata is designed for concealed installation in a wall cabinet. The compact body width (only 49.2 cm) allows the device to be placed in a 50 cm cabinet, which is ideal for small kitchens with limited space. Despite its compact size, the motor boasts a remarkable capacity of 1110 m³/h — a performance that is unusually high for such a compact format.

The noise level starts at a minimum of 44 dB, providing comfortable background operation at lower speeds. The depth is 27.7 cm and the height is 26 cm. The device supports two main operating modes — extraction through a 150 mm diameter air duct and recirculation, provided a TCF-002 charcoal filter is installed. Basic grease particle filtration is provided by a metal filter. The control of the Cata GT Plus 45 kitchen hood is carried out by a sliding switch — the slider position immediately shows the current mode. A noteworthy aspect is the type of lighting: the unit has two incandescent lamps with a total power of 80 W. They consume significantly more energy compared to LED counterparts and have a much shorter lifespan, so replacing them with LED lamps with a suitable socket might be advisable.
