Cort X100

An affordable entry-level electric guitar with an aggressive design from the updated X Series, created especially for those who want to play metal and heavy music but aren't ready to spend a lot of money on their first instrument. Although the Cort X100 is the junior model in the lineup, it features the same fast and comfortable neck as its senior siblings, plus powerful sound for various genres from classic rock to modern metal.

The body is made of meranti wood, often referred to as Philippine mahogany. Its sound is dense, with rich midrange frequencies that cut through the mix perfectly in rhythm parts. The hard maple neck with a jatoba fingerboard (a rosewood equivalent) is fast and comfortable, with a speedy profile that makes it easy to play both riffs and solos on higher frets. Interestingly, the body has a beveled profile, which not only looks great but also genuinely makes the guitar more comfortable since the hand doesn't hit sharp edges.

A pair of Powersound pickups, designed by Cort itself, deliver a powerful high output with aggressive, dense sound. They work excellently with overdrive and distortion, yet maintain clarity and responsiveness. The vintage-style tremolo bridge with six screws transfers more string vibration energy into the guitar body for increased acoustic resonance, ensuring maximum tuning stability. Additionally, the Cort X100 features a solid wood body.
