A fairly advanced gaming case in the Mini Tower format, introduced to the market by the Cougar brand in 2024 and positioned by the manufacturer in the mid-price segment. The model features a unique combination of large 160-mm fans and reverse motherboard connection technology. The dimensions of 445x232x456 mm provide a spacious interior for graphics cards up to 380 mm long and CPU coolers up to 175 mm high, which exceeds the capabilities of most compact cases.
The advanced connectivity scheme hides all cables from the front, creating an exceptionally clean look inside the glass case. The Cougar MX600 Mini RGB case is equipped with three pre-installed fans with ARGB lighting, including two unique 160-mm models at the front that ensure maximum airflow at reduced noise levels. Ten fan mounting slots offer exceptional flexibility in setting up the cooling system, including side positions for additional component cooling.
The included hub simplifies connecting and managing all system fans. Three positions for liquid cooling systems include support for a large 360-mm radiator on top, opening up possibilities for creating highly efficient cooling. The sturdy steel construction weighing 7.6 kg stands on rubberized feet for stability. The top panel is equipped with a high-speed USB-C 3.2 gen2 and two USB 3.2 gen1 ports. Dust filters on top and bottom protect components from contaminants.

Good ventilation, easy assembly, moderate price, Powerful 160mm front fans provide excellent airflow. The air does not go under the PSU shroud but is directed maximally towards the video card and CPU. The grills create minimal air obstructions. The steel is good quality. The dimensions are sufficient for most video cards and large CPU coolers. The filter under the PSU slides out from the back. at the front, instead of a nylon filter, there is a magnetic mesh, which isn't bad because few other manufacturers offer this at this price. However, Cougar cases within a similar price range do have them, so it would be nice to have it here as well. Spacious, well designed for cable management, even has Velcro straps. Quiet, unlike some other Cougar cases that have 120mm fans. There is only room for a 120mm fan at the back; I would prefer a 140mm like in other models of the same price. At the front, it's 160mm, which might be a bit difficult to replace if they break. |
