An advanced device from CTEK has gained great prestige among car owners over the course of several years of its existence. The point lies in its miniature size and the provision of fully automatic 8-stage charging of motorcycle and car 12-volt batteries.

Abundance of programs

When connecting the "crocodiles" or round terminals of the charger to the battery, one of the four charging programs is automatically selected. The first programme is designed to work with small batteries with a capacity of 1.2-14 A / h and the motorcycle icon corresponds to it. The indicator next to the image of the car indicates the charging programme for conventional batteries (capacity up to 110 Ah). The snowflake symbol indicates the charging programme for cold weather (from -20°C to +5°C), as well as the possibility of recharging AGM batteries. Finally, the last mode is designed to restore deeply discharged batteries. The programme selection can be corrected manually using the "Mode" key.

8 stages

On the upper part of the surface of the body of the device, there are 8 more light indicators indicating the progress of charging. They are arranged in the following sequence: desulfation, soft start, main charge, absorption, diagnostics (can the battery accept and hold a charge), recovery (activated only when the appropriate programme is selected), buffer mode (full charge), preventive charging. More details about each step are written in the instructions for the charger.

Multifunctionality

The instrument comes with a handy storage case. In addition, the device is safe to connect to the battery without having to disconnect it from the car's on-board network. But it was not possible to do without one minus among the many positive aspects — it turned out to be the high cost of the charger, which at the same time is fully justified by its multifunctionality.
