Like all Deepcool PSUs from 2023–2024, it features advanced circuitry, active PFC, and an adaptive cooling system that automatically adjusts the speed of the built-in Martech DF1202512FDHN fan (on a hydrodynamic bearing) based on system load and the heating level of the internal components.

All wiring uses a modular connection system: unused cables can simply be disconnected to maintain the system's internal aesthetics and simplify the upgrade process in the future. According to the manufacturer, the Deepcool PN850M is the optimal choice for powering advanced-level gaming PCs and workstations equipped with the latest generation Radeon and NVIDIA graphics cards with increased power consumption requirements in basic/peak modes.
