The Japanese company Denon has been creating products of amazing quality and design for more than a hundred years. One of them is the Home 150 audio system — a smart speaker that will not leave anyone indifferent.
Design
The cylinder-shaped model turned out to be compact (187x120x120 mm), but heavy (1.7 kg). Available in white or black, lined with a water and splash resistant fabric. It looks solid and solid, like a real premium device. Apparently, therefore, the manufacturer decided not to turn it into a portable one and did not provide a built-in battery. The speaker is powered exclusively from the network.
Control
The main feature is the ability to voice control using as many as three assistants: Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri. They can be instructed to play music, change the volume, skip to the next track, and more.
Playability
Thanks to the 1" tweeter and 3.5" woofer, the user can enjoy clear and loud sound by adjusting the bass and treble to their preference. Playback via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB or AUX 3.5 mm in Hi-Res is supported. There is also an Ethernet input (RJ-45) for LAN connection.
Fans of increased possibilities will appreciate the Multiroom function (Denon HEOS for connecting other audio systems and receivers), AirPlay 2, as well as three equalizer preset buttons on the top touch panel of the device. They also perform the function of tuning Internet radio stations.
The Denon Home 150 is a very nice multifunctional speaker that everyone would love to have at home. Another question is whether he wants to spend money on it.
