Inexpensive gadget in newfangled garb with the so-called "unibrow". The budgetary roots of the model are given out by a heavy “chin”, on which, in addition, the logo of a Chinese smartphone manufacturer flaunts. Being the main asset of the Doogee X70, the notched screen is notable except for its format. On the rest of the fronts, he turned out to be a kind of "modest". Judge for yourself, the picture is shown on the smartphone display in a resolution of only 1132x540 pixels. The device works under the control of the “old man” MediaTek MT6580M chip, which, in tandem with 2 GB of RAM, is sharpened for simple tasks without claiming a high “flight” speed. Unexpectedly, the battery in the arsenal of the smartphone turned out to be capacious — its tank has a capacity of exactly 4000 mAh. Trying...to keep pace with the engine of technological progress, the model got a paired main camera, but the second "eye" in its composition has no particular practical value. The device supports work in mobile data networks of the third generation (3G).

Why do smartphones start to slow down and what amount of RAM is now considered optimal?Let's explore the reasons for the slowdown and the optimal amount of RAM for smartphones

One of the most affordable smartphones on the market

For many smartphone buyers, powerful hardware or a bunch of additional features that weigh down the price are not important. The main thing is that it works stably, does not slow down and the battery does not sit down closer to dinner. In this regard, the Doogee X70, which has a 4000 mAh battery (lasts up to 3 days in a gentle mode) and costs less than $100, looks like a pretty attractive option.

iPhone X style design

At first glance, the appearance of the Doogee X70 is the style of a typical workhorse, which certainly will not catch on with its design. But upon closer inspection, we see a quite nice tracing paper iPhone X with its thin frames and branded notch-cut.

Large 5.5" IPS display

With the boom in frameless design, 5.5-inch diagonal has become the de facto standard for entry-level and mid-range smartphones. Such a "tube" is comfortable to operate and it fits comfortably in the hand. The Doogee X70 has just such a 5.5 IPS class display with a not the highest resolution of 1132x540. Because of this, the picture on the one hand looks a little grainy (although it does not cause much discomfort), on the other hand, the display saves battery power.

Sufficient performance

Modest hardware also plays into the hands of increased battery life. The heart of the system is a 4-core MediaTek MT6580M chip (frequency 1.3 GHz), the Mali-400 MP2 chip is responsible for the graphics, and the amount of RAM is 2 GB. This performance is sufficient for comfortable viewing of YouTube videos, surfing social networks and working with mail. But you should not count on demanding games.

Doogee branded apps

In terms of additional functions, we only have a fingerprint scanner and a small set of interesting proprietary Doogee applications. For example, Finger Gesture allows you to change the wallpaper using gestures, Smart Motion is responsible for setting up an answering machine, Wake Gesture — gestures with which the user can unlock the screen.
