An alien among robotic vacuum cleaners
Dyson is just starting to break into the robotic vacuum market with only a handful of models in its range so far. But what: the latest development in the face of 360 Heurist has combined advanced technologies and developments and can safely be called one of the most productive robots among numerous competitors. But still, at first glance, it attracts attention with its appearance, standing out not only with a bright blue body color, but also with unusual dimensions. It is smaller in width (23 cm), but higher (12 cm) compared to other vacuum cleaners, and this has both advantages and disadvantages: on the one hand, such a device will fit in narrow spaces, on the other hand, it will not be able to pass under low furniture like a sofa, armchair, etc. Another feature was the absence of wheels - instead of them, the "all-terrain vehicle" received a pair of tracks. There are no side brushes here either, as there is no need for them, because the rotating turbo brush occupies the entire width of the body. While most of the competition skips some areas on the sides, this robot vacuum picks up debris thoroughly from edge to edge.
Quality cleaning
Manufacturers like to label their devices “smart”, but the Dyson vacuum cleaner is really smart. It is based on a Dyson V2 digital engine, a powerful quad-core processor and as much as 8 GB of internal memory. The motor spins at 78,000 rpm and is enhanced with Radial Root Cyclone technology for strong suction. As a result, the device removes fine dust and larger debris, and on any surface: on laminate, tile, linoleum, carpets and even from cracks and gaps. Filters trap particles up to 0.3 microns in size and release already purified air outside.
There are 3 operating modes to choose from: High for powerful suction, Max for even deeper cleaning and Quiet - cleaning with minimal noise. The model is designed for dry cleaning only and, accordingly, is equipped with one dust container with a volume of 330 ml. Also note that such "brains" come at a price and take a lot of power, so the battery life is up to 75 minutes depending on the mode.
Learns and adapts to the home
The robot uses a 360-degree camera to navigate and map the room. While moving, the sensors measure the distance every 20 milliseconds, so the vacuum cleaner rides confidently, does not crash into obstacles and does not fall off the steps. Moreover, it constantly refines the map and identifies places that need more thorough cleaning. At the same time, it moves slower than most competitors, but stands out for its more precise and methodical approach to cleaning. By the way, at the bottom of the case there is a ring of LEDs that turn on in poor lighting, so that the device “sees” and works effectively even in the dark.
Connection takes place via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which ensures signal stability and connection reliability. With the signature Dyson Link app, you can view a cleaning map, create a schedule, change settings, track battery levels, define zones, and set virtual boundaries - all with a few clicks and from anywhere in the world.
