Design

The hair dryer belongs to Dyson's sensational Supersonic line, and it is immediately clear (both externally and in terms of characteristics) that this is a device from the big leagues. First of all, it attracts attention with its futuristic design: there is no usual elongated top part — only a handle and a round top with a hole in the middle. The secret is that the motor was placed in the handle, thanks to which the hair dryer, although it did not become lighter, is much more comfortable to hold, and the hand does not get tired during prolonged use.

Also, there is no lattice at the back, where strands can be sucked in at any time — it was placed below. By the way, the filter needs to be cleaned periodically, which is signaled by flashing LEDs, but this process is very quick and simple. All control buttons are located on the back, which eliminates their accidental pressing. In general, this design was chosen not just to distinguish the model from competitors, but primarily for the sake of convenience.

Quickly and efficiently

The device allows you to set one of three temperature modes and three airflow rates, and independently of each other. The number of buttons has been reduced to a minimum, and the selected mode is indicated by LED indicators. As for the temperature, it does not exceed 105 degrees, and this is the maximum mode for hard and unruly hair. The manufacturer did not add high temperatures that dry out and damage the hair structure, but provided sensors that control the degree of heating. That is, if you chose drying at 80 degrees, the temperature will not rise higher.

But the speed here is like that of an airplane turbine: the hair dries much faster than when using a conventional hair dryer, but it does not scatter in different directions. Despite the high power, the hair dryer is very quiet, so you can safely turn it on in the morning without disturbing the sleep of the rest of the family, or while watching your favorite series. The ionization function will remove static electricity, and with the help of a cold blow, you can fix the result.

Nozzles included

Pleases and equipment Dyson Supersonic HD03. In the box you will find as many as 4 nozzles. Two of them are hubs of different widths, a thin one and a thicker one. They direct the air flow to the selected strand and model its shape. With the help of such nozzles and a brush, you can create a basal volume and twist the ends. And for owners of wavy hair, a diffuser nozzle is suitable: it delicately twists the curls and reduces frizz. There is also a gentle drying attachment, which is recommended for fine hair and sensitive scalp. Moreover, all nozzles are quickly and securely attached to the body with magnets and do not heat up much during operation. In addition, a convenient thermal mat was added to the kit. And the cord length of 2.7 metres allows you to use the hair dryer in large rooms away from the outlet — for example, in salons.

Perhaps the only drawback of the device is its high price. But given that this is not just an ordinary expensive thing, but an investment in the health and beauty of hair, then the price tag is quite justified.
