Drying and Straightening in One Device
The Dyson styler belongs to the premium segment and stands out not only for its recognizable brand but also for its advanced features. Its main feature is its versatility: the model combines the functions of a hairdryer and a straightener, allowing you to simultaneously dry wet hair and straighten it. The device is also suitable for styling dry strands, for example, to refresh a hairstyle. At the same time, there is no harm from overheating — the styler does not use heated plates, instead, it operates with a powerful airflow under high pressure. The proprietary Dyson Hyperdymium motor spins at speeds of up to 106,000 revolutions per minute, ensuring quick and effective drying even for the most unruly hair in just one or more passes.
Intelligent sensors that measure and adjust the air temperature up to 16 times per second take care of hair health, and the ionization system gives strands smoothness, shine, and silkiness.
Advanced Control
The styler offers a variety of settings. In the mode for wet hair, there are three temperature levels available — 80°C, 110°C, and 140°C, for dry hair — two (120°C and 140°C). Two airflow intensity modes, a cold air function, and a Boost mode for enhanced heating are also provided.
All parameters are displayed on a small color display, which also notifies about possible malfunctions, overheating, the need to clean the filter, allows you to change the menu language, or reset to factory settings.
Useful Additions
The manufacturer has equipped the device with numerous functions for maximum comfort. The plate lock in the closed position allows using the styler as a hairdryer and conveniently storing it. The idle mode adjusts the airflow power depending on the plate position: it increases when capturing a strand and decreases during a pause. The automatic pause halts the device's operation if it stays open for more than 3 seconds, and the standby function turns it off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
