If you find that the battery is impeding access, the drill has an additional trick up its sleeve whereby the battery holder can be rotated to shift the battery 90° out of the way. The trigger switch is variable speed so that it only ramps up to full power when its fully pressed in, and an integrated LED worklight helps to illuminate the work surface for better visibility.
