Relatively compact, performant and cost-effective 3-in-1 monochrome inkjet multifunction printer with factory continuous ink supply and two built-in network modules (LAN and Wi-Fi). The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the middle price category, focused on serving the needs of a small / home or medium office. The original Epson Micro Piezo inkjet printing technology uses a piezo head and proprietary pigment ink, which allow you to create high-resolution prints (up to 2400x1200 dpi).
Due to the special composition, such ink dries instantly and does not blur when moistened. An impressive print speed for an inkjet device (20 ppm in standard quality, up to 39 ppm in draft) allows the Epson M2170 MFP to successfully compete with laser printers, outperforming them in such an important characteristic as the cost of a print. Built-in Wi-Fi 4 wireless and Wi-Fi Direct support enables direct printing from smartphones, tablets and laptops. An Ethernet adapter helps to fully integrate the MFP into a workgroup network environment.
