Flying for the second year on a spare sealing ring. Everything is fine. Nothing leaks. Worth its money. For pots up to 1.5 liters, it's just right. And since I only cook for myself, there's no need to change it. Cheap, powerful (3 kilowatts after all) and even a built-in screen from the wind. The sealing ring was killed only after a year and 2 months (it was often used), and once again the sealing ring began to crack in sub-zero temperatures. But it didn't hurt. Returned home and began to look - to get it and already strength tests finished him off. I looked at the officials - 30 r a new ring and all the cases. use Fire-Maple FMS-103 month or more i recommend it should buy |
After the first installation of the burner on the cylinder, the small internal sealing ring was damaged. The large external sealing ring initially did not adhere to the cylinder neck at all and did not seal anything. This led to gas leakage and ignition at the burner-cylinder joint. After extinguishing the fire and conducting an express repair (removing the small internal sealing ring), the burner was able to screw tightly onto the cylinder. The remaining large external sealing ring provided satisfactory sealing. In this form, the burner withstood a five-day hike. If you own this burner, it is worth immediately "tuning it up": 1. Remove the small sealing ring. 2. Replace the large sealing ring, made of very hard rubber, with a thickness of 1.5 mm, with a more elastic one, with a thickness of 2 mm. 3. Check for leaks with soapy water. Pay special attention to the gas tap. Lightweight (103 g without the box), compact, inexpensive (40% cheaper than the similar Kovea burner), powerful. Nothing unnecessary (for example, no piezo ignition block). Basically functional, but only if you first "refine" it with your own hands. Unreliable and simply dangerous to use, due to design flaws and poor quality of sealing materials used. Requires some DIY work. use Fire-Maple FMS-103 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
