Classic Design
The model is designed in a classic dome form factor and equipped with a moderately wide-angle lens with a fixed focal length of 4 mm. The diagonal field of view of the optics is about 94°. Inside the camera, there is a 5 MP sensor that ensures video recording in a high resolution up to 3072x1728 pixels.
Object Recognition
To reduce the number of false alarms, the camera is equipped with intelligent recognition systems for people and vehicles. To deter potential intruders when crossing the guarded perimeter, you can activate the LED spotlight and a sound siren with a power of about 100 dB. The model also supports a two-way audio communication function.
PoE Power Supply
Clear visibility of the image in low-light conditions is ensured by a quartet of infrared illumination diodes, which automatically turn on when the lighting is insufficient. The Foscam T5EP is powered through the internet cable thanks to PoE technology. If necessary, a 12-volt power adapter can be purchased separately for the camera; however, it is not included in the standard kit.
