An inexpensive low-profile cooler from Gamemax, which belongs to the low-cost segment, but is not much inferior to more expensive tower coolers. It is easy to install, efficient in operation, not too noisy and does not conflict with other components due to the low profile design. Unlike traditional tower COs, in which the heatsink is located perpendicular to the processor, in Gamemax Gamma 300 Rainbow the design resembles a sandwich: the heatsink hangs over the processor, a 120mm fan blows over it, and 5 heat pipes directly contact the processor.
The fan speed can be adjusted from near-silent (800 rpm) to high speed (1900 rpm), which provides an impressive airflow with a power of 58.8 CFM and a pressure of 2.18 mm H2O. The manufacturer claims that the design is capable of dissipating up to 180 W of heat from the processor. Considering that it will most likely be installed in a compact case with limited interior decoration, the Gamma 300 Rainbow Cooling system will be the best choice for entry-level and mid-level builds with a compact motherboard, a small-sized Cube Case, and a mid-range processor with 6 or 8 physical cores. The Gamemax Gamma 300 Rainbow is a rather interesting low-profile cooler that could be used as an example for others. It is friendly with almost all popular processor sockets (except for the new LGA 1700), easy to install (simple latches are used instead of bolts), equipped with an efficient PWM fan, effective in solving problems of cooling overheated processors and equipped with an interesting backlight.

Compared to other entry-level low-profile cooling systems, the Gamma 300 Rainbow stands out thanks to its backlighting. Moreover, these are not just LEDs that were installed for show, and not even RGB, but a full-fledged addressable backlight with all its goodies, including support for backlight synchronization. However Gamemaxx promises 100% compatibility only with Asus Aura Sync, and you'll be lucky with boards from MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock. Anyway, for a low-cost Cooling system with a price tag of just over $20, this is pretty cool. Also to be commended is the streamlined mounting kit, with a redesigned rear panel and clips that make this "mini-tower" easy to install.
