Ultralight and Compact
The single-person tent Highlander Falcon Bivi Tent stands out for its minimal weight and small dimensions. The model weighs only 1 kg including the cover and pegs, making it suitable for lightweight hikers and travelers aiming to minimize gear weight. It requires less than 2 m² of free space for setup since the tent measures 245x80 cm. When folded, it takes up minimal space — about 3.7 liters, approximately the size of two water bottles.
Durable Frame and Useful Features
The semi-barrel shape of the tent is created by two external aluminum poles. They increase the reliability of the construction and better endure temperature changes. The low height up to 60 cm improves wind resistance, but notably limits comfort: medium and tall tourists might feel cramped even in a sitting position.
The model is well-prepared for weather protection: the canopy's waterproof rating is 4000 mm, and the floor's is 5000 mm. There are also reflective guy lines, which are easier to spot in the dark with a flashlight, and a mosquito net at the entrance for insect protection.
Bivouac Tent
The sleeping area is designed for one person and offers a good length up to 240 cm and width of 80 cm. This partly compensates for the absence of a full vestibule, usually used for placing a backpack, shoes, or outerwear.
The main nuance of the model is its single-layer construction. Because of this, the manufacturer classifies the Falcon Bivi Tent as a bivouac tent. In cold weather, with sharp temperature changes, or during rain, condensation may accumulate more actively on the inner tent walls.
