Working with different materials

Hitachi FDV16VB2 is considered one of the best corded drills among low-cost models. It can work with drills for metal up to 13 mm in diameter and for wood up to 25 mm. The impact function will allow you to make a hole in concrete or tiles with a diameter of up to 16 mm. This is quite enough to hang a plasma panel or wall cabinet on the wall. The drilling and impact functions are switched by lightly pressing the button on the drill body.

Design features

The built-in speed limiter will allow you to change the speed of the drill up to a maximum of 2900 rpm. Thanks to this limiter, you can adjust the speed of rotation of the drill when drilling materials of different density and hardness. If you need to drill a hole for a long time, then the drill has a start button lock.

Compact lightweight drill

The drill itself is compact and fits comfortably in the hand. Its weight is only 1.6 kg, so you can work for a long time without hand fatigue. The quick-release 13mm chuck allows you to change drills and bits in seconds. However, users note that when drilling with a blow, the drill knocks a little on the walls of the cartridge due to insufficient fixation.
