Internal (embedded) server-class hard drive with a capacity of 10,000 GB (10 TB) with a universal SATA3 connection interface. Belongs to the HPE Server Midline family of HDD drives, which are used in ProLiant Gen9 and Gen10 servers. Designed for intensive use in 24/7 mode in mass data storage systems. The working chamber of the HP Server SATA 7.2K 3.5" 857648-B21 hard drive is filled with air, so unlike top-end drives with helium filling, it has a more affordable cost and is an excellent choice for those on a limited budget.

Suitable for traditional NAS/SAN disk arrays, rack cabinets and distributed storage systems, including block and file architectures. Capable of operating effectively in workstations with a loaded disk subsystem. The improved design and firmware of this drive are optimized for operation in multi-disk arrays in 24/7 mode. There are systems for monitoring and correcting linear and angular vibration in real time. Compared with consumer models, the manufacturer claims a higher resource and a significantly lower probability of failure.
