Round smartwatches of the Huawei brand can be attributed to the middle price segment of both the branded model range and the market as a whole. The characteristic features of the model include a stylish appearance and a high level of durability, for which the titanium case is primarily responsible, the presence of a sapphire crystal that protects the dial, as well as a high-quality quick-release strap (can be leather or rubber).

To improve the accuracy of navigation (even without a connection with a smartphone), the accessory received a GPS module and additional sensors, namely a compass, altimeter and barometer. And Bluetooth v 5.1 is responsible for quick pairing with a mobile phone. Smartwatch Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro has got an AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 454x454 pixels. The hardware platform is represented by a proprietary Kirin A1 processor, 32 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory.

The measurement capabilities of the model are represented by a heart rate monitor, determining the level of oxygen in the blood, counting steps, distance traveled and total activity time, and a rough estimate of calories burned. The 455 mAh rechargeable battery provides a good battery life of up to two weeks. And subsequent replenishment is carried out using wireless charging.

This watch has changed my life for the better!
Premium materials. Titanium, sapphire glass, and ceramic. Not a single scratch or chip after a year and a half of very active use.

Vibrant and high-quality display with automatic brightness adjustment.

Functionalities directly in the watch: GPS route tracking, speed monitoring (whether walking, cycling, or otherwise), return route, blood oxygen sensor (which saved me during COVID-19 by showing low saturation at an early stage of the illness), a barometer that really works and warns of sudden weather changes (saved me from rain more than once), alarms and timers, both sports and breathing exercises, weekly weather forecast, very accurate sleep tracking and stress level monitoring, the ability to talk on the phone through the watch (also clear and of high quality, perfect for driving, especially if you have an old car like mine without all those Android Auto features), built-in memory where you can upload music through an app on your phone and listen directly from the watch or through wireless headphones.

Autonomy. I constantly have all tracking features enabled + I consistently use GPS for about an hour a day during training (walking or cycling), and with that pace, the charge lasts exactly a week. No changes so far after a year and a half.

I use the original strap, it's superb.

Wireless charging has proven convenient, the built-in magnet holds the watch well, and there's no need to aim at contacts, as is the case with simpler watches.
One downside is the proprietary app, which doesn't play nicely with phones or tablets running Android and often gets unloaded from memory, even though I tried to control this at the system level. Because of this, notifications don't always come through, or the same notification is duplicated several times instead of showing new ones. Additionally, this app isn't available on the Play Market and must be downloaded from the official website (otherwise, you won't be able to connect the watch to the phone).

Very cool appearance, case materials are excellent titanium and sapphire. Operating time up to two weeks of active use. You can answer the call. Large selection of different watch faces, a large number of training modes. It is easy to replace the strap, there is protection against water and dust.
