For $150-$220 there are much better options. At a price of up to 9000, an excellent option
7 September 2021
For 13-15 thousand, these are not the headphones you should choose, as there are competitors with more impressive features. They should cost up to 10,000 considering their sound and functionality, then it would be the best choice, but it is what it is. It's the same as buying an RTX 3060 at the recommended price of a 3080. Yes, it's a good graphics card, but not for that price.
Sound, since these are gaming headphones, the sound is excellent in games, otherwise average.
Wireless charging is a very convenient feature.
The usage time actually lasts the claimed 30 hours at 50-60% volume, but you can charge them in 20-30 minutes.
There's no RGB lighting, though it has a beautiful design.
Comfortable and reliable design.
Dual charging, which also allows you to charge your phone.
Completely wireless, no unnecessary cords or anything in the way.
7.1 is not a plus, just a feature that is there; its purpose is unclear if it's virtual, as virtual always sounds bad, but it's there.
White noise is subtle, but it's there
Clicking from the speaker when charging
The microphone is a major issue for all Hyper X products, it seems like they couldn't care less about it.
And the main thing is the price, it's too high for this model, but since I bought them second-hand for a minimal price (5000), there were no competitors in this range.
It doesn't measure up to competitors; similar Logitech models in the same price range have noise cancellation, cleaner sound, and more additional features.
7.1, as mentioned in the pros, it's there, but nobody uses it because it always sounds bad, and this isn't just a problem with these headphones, it's an issue with all virtual 7.1 products, a useless feature.

Recommend for purchase for stereo headphones

I had been using HYPERX Cloud Alpha headphones for a long time and decided to choose wireless headphones from the same brand and stuck with these headphones. I was struck by how different the sound is; in HYPERX Cloud Alpha, the mids and highs are pronounced, but little is given to the lows, but in these headphones everything is more balanced, lows, like other frequencies, in sufficient quantities for excellent sound. The only thing I don’t recommend taking headphones for is for 7.1 surround, otherwise the headphones are justified by their cost in all respects
Very good and expressive sound
Close fit to the ears without discomfort, providing good noise cancellation
Wireless charging
Convenient design
The buttons on the right ear cup don't press well, it could just be a design flaw. As with all HyperX headphones, I would like a better microphone. The 7.1 mode distorts the sound and makes it unnatural. In some cases, the ear cups can press on the cheekbones, but this solely depends on the anatomy of the head.

I recommend buying it, don’t hesitate to take it when it’s on sale - you’ll be pleased.

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, there are some shortcomings, but the sound quality outshines all the negatives. I use it as my main headset for gaming, I also have a logitech g533 and a corsair virtuoso SE. I consider the Hyper to be the best of the three.
They work right out of the box, just turn them on and there's no need to adjust anything! All the necessary buttons are on the headphones. The sound is amazing; I mainly play shooters (Warzone, Battlefield, PUBG) and the positioning is excellent, footsteps are clearly audible. The 7.1 mode is relevant only for shooters—footsteps and gunshot sounds are emphasized, cutting out everything else. It's a mode for enthusiasts; I occasionally turn it on during intense matches. I'm not really into music, but when I do listen, they sound fine to me. The battery life is good; I've only charged them twice in a month (I don't spend all day at the computer).
I wish the price were cheaper.
The ear cushions are soft and comfortable, but my ear doesn't fully fit, which creates some discomfort over time. The fit is quite snug, so I have to occasionally adjust or remove them. Perhaps they will stretch over time. There's a slight creaking noise when rotating or tilting the cups—I think it can be fixed with lubrication, but I'm not sure where to apply it yet.
It would be nice to have fabric ear cushions included.
Occasionally, I hear crackling noises, but they're not strong, and they don't bother me. I've read many reviews about background noise, but I haven't experienced it.
The microphone is basic—suitable for communication in Discord if you adjust the sensitivity correctly; it doesn't pick up sounds from a mechanical keyboard.
There's NGenuity software available from the Microsoft Store, but I haven't installed it—the out-of-the-box performance is satisfactory for me. I would like the option to download it from sources other than the Microsoft Store.
